Let’s be honest and real here: motherhood is hard and stressful.  It doesn't matter how old your child or children are. The highs are high but the lows are low. And if you are a first time Mum, you are going through the most dramatic change in your life. Period.

Mothering a human being (or multiple human beings) can be all encompassing and all consuming. Putting another human being first ahead of your needs and wants is the relentless act of love all mothers do. Thus, it is so easy to get to a point where you may feel drained and depleted, and lose a sense of yourself beyond being a “mum”.  You know that you need to “take care of yourself” but beyond the physical aspects such as sleep and exercise, how do you take care of your emotional and mental wellbeing? How do you refuel and re-energise yourself when you are so busy?

How I can help you

From one mum to another

I'm Dr Missy Wolfman. I've been helping dozens of mothers feel less alone, stressed and overwhelmed. I empower mums like you to feel calm, centred and connected with themselves and their children. 

I am a mother of twin girls and a Clinical Psychologist which means I get it! I have hit rock bottom on my own motherhood journey after my daughter had a series of accidents and a minor skull fracture.  I have felt depleted, defeated and exhausted by motherhood. I started practising what I teach to my clients such as mindfulness, self-compassion and gratitude.  These strategies have helped me to enjoy motherhood and be more the mum I want to be. I have been teaching these strategies to dozens of mums like you, and empower them to feel more calm and collected in the chaos and messiness of motherhood.

Hi, I'm Dr Missy Wolfman. I'm a Clinical Psychologist, and I offer treatment for anxiety, depression and other mental health issues. I use a variety of evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). I also have a passion for teaching mindfulness and self-compassion to my clients as I find these to be very beneficial in my own life as a mother. My passion is to help women thrive no matter where they are in their motherhood journey.
